Never having played this game before, I was very dissappointed by the instruction manuel which helped not at all. Fortunately there is an on line rule book that helps alot...I kept at it and finally it all came together, and I started enjoying myself. This is a good game with a good strategic element. The major down side is the very slow game play. The machine takes forever to do anything and as a result, a typical game takes about 45min. Also, it would have been nice had the interface been designed to allow you to easily view the opponents cards that are being played, as it stands, you have to go though several screens to get to the information.
Description of Dragon Ball Z: Collectible Card Game
The aim of DRAGONBALL Z: COLECTIBLE CARD GAME is to fight your way through competitors who are also playing the game. You start out with 157 cards, and each time you win, you earn 10 booster cards. Using the Game Boy Advance Link Cable, you can play against a friend or just trade some cards.Deal! Draw! Conquer! Based on the collectible card game, Dragon Ball Z allows players to use a ladder fighting system to defeat opponents and, finally, conquer Cell, the major baddie. Players unlock new characters as they strategize and harness their power to save the universe from complete and utter destruction.
