First, once you get it, watch the intro movie. This is great game for those who like violent, role-playing, and strategy games. It starts out with a tutorial that is 10 chapters. Chapters are the individual levels you fight on. Anyways, after the tutorial you have 21 chapters you to beat to, kinda beat the game. And don't think the 31 chapters are easy. You get around 15 and it really gets difficult, unless you're good with strategy games like me. You can have a lot of different units with you: lords, heros, fighters, mages, clerics, archers, pegasus and wyvern riders, swordsmen and many, many more! You can also make them even more superior than before using certain items for each type of unit! Other things you can do are: fortune-telling and linking with friends or enemies to show off your unbeatable team of 5! You can also test them out in the practice arena also! One more thing before cons (pros are everything I've said). There's also the sound room you get starting chap.11 where you can listen to your favorite music clips!!
Cons:
No actual cheats.
A very hard difficulty, as I have said.

This game is great. the fire emblem series will make an impact on US socity. I beat this game in a little over 2 months and then played it on HARD!!! This game is truly amazing

This game is excellent. I got this game about 2-3 weeks ago. This is a great game for anyone who loves violent games. But I'm not saying you should go kill someone just because you like violence. It's a little similar to Advance Wars but far times better. It's like a strategy, role-playing, action, adventure game. If you don't like any of these genres, either your stupid or you just need to look for another game that's flat out boring. Anyway, this is a great game.
Pros:
Leveling up
Perfect animation
Choose your units to fight with
Trade items between units and the privelege to use items before battling(starting on 7th chapter)
Hundreds of weapons at your fingertips(only after obtaining them)
Fortune telling I think starting at Chapter 15
Many classes to use and items to make even stronger classes
Link up with people to battle with your units
And more!
Cons:
No cheats unless you use Codebreaker or Gameshark
Hard difficulty making the game even more challenging
