I bought 2 of these 3 years ago. One for my son (10) and one for my husband. We love them. They work great for long trips and we even bought the car addaptor so they can recharge during those long trips to Grandmas. My only fault with them is that recently my sons has stopped working. They are not indistructable and it took one too many trips down the stairs by his brother(2). Now I am on the hunt for a new one to replace it. Some of the reviews say they are too big but my husband liked that because it made the GB easier for him to hold. He likes the Advanced better than the SP for this reason too. If you are in the market for a good charger that kids can work without adult supervision this is it. Both my older sons (10 & 5)use them without any problem, when the power runs out you just set them in the cradle, overnight works well. It was well worth the money and I will buy another.
