I'll admit,at first I was skeptical of getting the GBA SP.I already had a perfectly workable GBA.Why did I need the 'big new thing'?Ah,but that was BEFORE I took my's cousin's for a test drive,and I was awed.I knew I needed one of my own.So the day came and I purchased my new 'toy'.When I first saw the box,my first thought was "Darn,they gave me one of the accesories instead!"Oh,I was wrong.It was folded up (due to the clamshell design) and was it small!Think a little taller than an average credit card.The entire system was very sleek and stylish.From the no-glare sidelit screen to the cute little mirrored Nintendo logo on the front.Nery vice.So now I decided to test my GBA SP's 'playablity'.I played over two hours,and my hands never got cramped or sore.The buttons were a little more 'clicky' than on previous systems,but it gives a but more crisp motion the button pressing.The BEST feature?The sidelit screen,for sure.There's no glare and no reflection.You'd be crazy to play without it,as even in the right light,the unlit screen is HIGHLY reflective.So I defininatly encourage you to purchase this to get the absolute most out of your gaming experience,especially if you don't already have a GBA or wormlight.If you do have a GBA with wormlight,then you need to consider if you really like the other features this model includes,such as the rechargable lithium ion battery (holds up to 400 charges,mind you).And parents,this makes an AWESOME birthday present,if your kid is into the gaming scene.I hope you found this review helpful,and Happy Gaming!

GBA IS THE BEST SYSTEM.YOU CAN TAKE IT ENYWHERE IN THE WORLD.ALSO THE CO0L ONYX COLOR. THAT IS THE BEST COLOR.YOU CAN PLAY IN THE DARK TOO.THE LIGHT IS COOL.IT'S EVEN FITS YOU IN YOUR POCKET.ONYX COLOR DOSN'T SHOW ANY MARKS.Customer Review: very good!!!

First when I saw GBA SP, I thought it was so dumb. But when I found out that it had built in light, and rechargable battery, I was hooked up to it. After that I decided to buy one. So I went to the store and bought one. I couldn't wait to open it. When I got home, I read the insturction manual,and started charging. the Clam shell disigh was what I thought it was the coolest. It looks like a mini laptop that plays game! The part I liked the most is built in light. The GBA's light got on your way when playing game in the dark. Now there is built in screen like palm, you don't have to worry about light getting in your way. the LED indicater makes SP more cooler. (From side way) My hands are fairly large but SP is still comfertable to me! I still like playing GameBoy Advance SP.Pro

I am a big Mac Gamer and thought this would be nice to pass my time when I'm away from the computer. The GBA is designed very well and fits nicely into one's hands.The sound out of the GBA leaves a little to be desired but the graphics are what you would expect from 32mb of graphics. If you have ever enjoyed games on a PDA then this is a must!
37 yrs. old and I finally got my first GameBoy, life is good!
