Video Game Reviews of Golden SunCustomer Review: BUY THIS - IT'S AN AWESOME GAME! Summary: 5 StarsFirst, I can't understand all the bad comments from other gamers about Golden Sun. Have they played the whole thing and gone to Golden sun, the Lost age(second part)? I thought the plot was interesting, although I agree the dialogue could get lengthly at times, but it was mostly necessary for the plot! I'm 15, and found several of the puzzles challenging and fun. I find that finding the Djin is lots of fun. To the review. GRAPHICS ARE AWESOME! Battle graphics are included in this statement. The music is great, sometimes relaxing and at others especially in the battle scenes are more lively. I truly loved the music and felt that it fit the game very well. You play as Isaac(default name), but as the plot is in depth I will not tell you it :) It is revealed over the two games. You have 'magic' powers, which help you in battle + in puzzle type situations. I enjoy collecting the Djinn and have collected them all, which involves more puzzles and added gameplay, thus a higher REPLAY/extra VALUE. I WOULD BUY THIS GAME BECAUSE THE GRAPHICS ARE PROBABLY THE BEST I'VE SEEN IN GAMEBOY ADVANCE, THE MUSIC IS ENJOYABLE, THE PLOT IS RICH, THE BATTLE SCENES ARE NEAT, AND BECAUSE OF 'SUBQUESTS'(best name i could think of for them) such as TO GET ALL THE DJIN AND SUMMONS(which make you more powerful).I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT YOU WILL WASTE EVEN A SINGLE PENNY IF YOU BUY THIS GAME.
Customer Review: golden sun seems like just another final fantasy Summary: 3 Starsthis game looked good, it got good reveiws, but then when i played it i didn't see what was so special about this game.i also thought the music was soothing(this is good for a love theme, not rpg). The graphics were just okay.it gets really frustrating somtimes.its not an easy game.all im saying is rent before u buy!!!!lol.
Customer Review: Not a very good RPG Summary: 2 StarsI've been reading the reviews about this game and I am shocked this got higher that 3 stars at most this was definitetly not a Final Fantasy nor a Zelda game as most of those other people wrote (not sure what game they were playing either). Now on to the actual review. First the story, the story was very long and drawn out and it took forever to scroll through all the worthless dialouge. There was just too much fluff in the game for the story and I found myself hitting the A button as fast as possible to try to get back to the game. As far as graphics and sound for GBA it's some of the best I've seen on the system and I couldn't find much to complain about here. The actual fighting system within the game was very well done for a hand held RPG but there were too many instances where you'd have to sit there and read a whole bunch of worthless dialouge that hardly advanced the story (which must be why Nintendo had to have the story strech itself thinly across 2 games). The dungeons in this game had to be the worst feature I have puzzle solving and these dungeons were just full of em. The worst part is there's no way the puzzles could have been viewed as fun they were repetitive and just wasted my time I hated the dungeons for those lame puzzles of hitting buttons and pushing logs around. It was sad because this game had so much potential it had a great battle system they just never let you use it the only problem with the battle system was the game was too easy but would have been ok if they had provided a story. My final problem with the game was the fact that they managed to strech the story across two games which didn't seem possible because they only had about a 10 hour RPG with the story they were using but with the added banter and all the fluffing they streched it across 2 30 hour games. Overall I would recomend this for little kids or people just getting started on RPGs while true RPG fans will have to wait for something else to come along.
Customer Review: AN RPG THAT'S AWESOME! Summary: 4 StarsTHIS RPG IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE ONE OF THE THINGS YOU'LL REMEMBER 30 YEARS FROM NOW (if they still have rpgs then!) The game uses pretty good graphics for the gameboy advance. When I saw the graphics for the the djinn being summoned, I was blown away! I first thought "yah yah, boring!" A friend recommended it to me, being a new rpg fan i was stuck in the "breath of fire" days. After trying that I had it on until I had to go to church that day. After badgering my brother for months to try it, he did, and he was hooked, he beat the game in under a month! This game is impossible to turn down no matter how much willpower you have, get this game through any means nescesary!
Customer Review: the ultimate handheld final fantasy!!! Summary: 4 StarsThis game rocks!!!!!!! If you like Final Fantasy, taadaa, a handheld Final Fantasy! I've beaten the game and the Fusion Dragon is awesome. If you havent played this game yet, shoot yourself!
