Customer Review: Mario RPG!? Better Believe it!! Summary: 5 StarsI got this game for my Game Boy Micro for those long college road trips, and let me tell you, it is one hell of an RPG. It's not like Final Fantasy XI or World Of Warcraft, which is great, because if you're into that kind of stuff, you should be looking up Final Fantasy IV Advance, not this game!
This game keeps it to a minimum (those people who hate RPG's will actually dig it, it is kind of like Zelda for SNES. It has tons of little kid's jokes, and leveling up is kind of fun (instead of luck, they have Mustache... weird).
The graphics are smooth on the Micro, and the material is really funny. Totally reccomend it.
Customer Review: A Good Use Of TIme Summary: 4 StarsOk, I literally spent over 20 hours so far trying to finish this game its story line is the hardest so far to figure out.Not compared to the recent mario and luigi partners in time for the nintendo ds i beat that in under 3 hours compared to 20 thats a big difference considering that nintendo ds game comes with the map so thats makes the whole game overly easy. This game i would definitely recommend buying it never gets boring
Customer Review: Mario made into an RPG? Summary: 5 StarsI thought this game was just another platforming game were you run and jump on enemys. I just finished beating the game, and it was actually my favorite Role Playing Game...ever. It was that enjoyable. You're laughing through most of the cut scenes. There are some very memorable characters in this game. If you don't know Fawful, you need to check this game out. He has the best lines in the game
One of the reasons I think I liked this game was because it's a great rpg with a mario twist. In normal rpg's you can't do anything to help dodge attacks. When fighting your enemys, you can either jump or use a hammer to counter attack, or dodge the hit.
There are some puzzles in this game. The Majority of them are easy. You need to pay attention when talking to people, because as they will sometimes give you hints by coloring the text either Green or Red. This helps you know where to be and what to do. If you do get lost, eventually a little shop will open up, allowing you to purchase the info to know where next to go.
The boss battles are great. This is where you use your Bros. Power attacks the most. This is were both brothers help one another pull off a powerful attack. You need to push the right button on the right time for the attack to be most effective.
I finished the game at about 23 hours total. It's not a short game. Sometimes you with you could just be done with it (collecting pieces of a "bean star" takes some exploring), but after the final boss battle, it feels great and was worth your time. An rpg with humor! I HAVE FURY!!!
Customer Review: Best mario yet! Summary: 5 Starsthis game is one of the best gameboy advance games yet!One of the bright sides is it has a great story. The bros.attacks can also be easily mastered. But the game is not easy.Especialy at bowsers castle!Thats were im stuck at the enemies themselves are a challenge!I mean think about trying to beat about 7 koopa guys with about 400 hp when your attacks only do like 37 damage? but thats the fun part the challenge!I sugest you put it on your christmas list if you have not!this is a good game for those who like challenges.but if not try getting somthing else.
