If you were thinking about buying an original Gameboy Advance I would highly reccomend reconsidering. I recently purchased the new GBA SP and was very impressed with the sleek design and great performance of this product. The visuals are very nice, and there are tons of great games out there available for the system. If you were concered about the small size don't worry my hands are fairly large, and holding the system was very comfortable.The Frontlit screen is probobly the most notealbe and anticipated new feature the system has to offer, I was able to play games in a room without any lighting whatsoever with ease, and with the new Lithium Ion battery being used as the power source you won't be needing to spend money on batteries for roughly 3 years; This feature will pay for itself over and over again. I have owned a good deal of handheld consoles and by far this this is the most innovative of them all, finally Nintendo Got it right! My only complaint was the lack of a built in headphone jack for private listening, so you'll have to pay a bit more for the headphone adapter if you plan on using headphones. Unfortunately it always seems to be bundled with something, other than being sold as a standalone item, But the good that this product has to offer greatly outweighs the bad, which makes it highly reccomendalbe. If you have been searching for a great handheld system your search is over, So what are you waiting for? There's no time like there present and these little handhelds are going fast, better get yours while they are still so abundant. ;)Customer Review: i'd pay double then wat it costs

The screen was way too dark on the original Game Boy Advance (GBA), so I could barely see the picture of the video game I was playing. I could only see the glares, scratches, and finger-prints that were on it. But, thankfully, the Nintendo Company created the awesome GBA SP which has a light that is inside of it and lights up the whole entire screen. No glares, perfect lighting, and a screen, which folds down when you are done playing a video game, make the GBA SP a great product! I am very happy that the screen folds down because now I barely have to worry about it getting damaged by scratches, finger-prints, etc. I chose the Onyx-colored GBA SP because, in my opinion, it looks the coolest. The video games for this awesome hand-held console are brilliant! "The Hobbit", "LOTR: FOTR", "LOTR: TTT", "LOTR: ROTK", "The Hulk", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Lost Vikings", "Barbarian", and "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" are just some of the brilliant video game titles for the GBA SP. I highly recommend that you buy this awesome product! Ditch your original GBA and buy the Onyx GBA SP.Customer Review: Stellar system, with a few drawbacks.

This system is, just like its counterpart, awesome, and handy to keep oneself entertained while traveling. But, mine broke after being dropped from a height of 5 feet. The LCD screen cracked. This broke my heart. This system is not as durable as Nintendo and others would have you believe. But, be that as it may, a great improvement on an already great system.Customer Review: this is worth the extra money

heres in canada its $150 and i have absolutley no regrets about buying it, it has a huge game selection and i think just the back lit screen is worth the extra money... go buy one right now it is so worth it even if you don't travel or stuff like that, and after a while the price of buying batteries would equal up to the extra money, scratches or also a huge turn off of the first gba so this has everything plus the clam shell design has a very cool look to it like your rich or soemthing like that. over all i give it out of 5 ten it is worth even more then what there charging!
