I like Ruby very very very very very very very very very very very very much.The origional 252 pokemon were cool,but there's something about the Ruby and Sapphire pokemon that just makes me love them.If you do buy this game,which you should,get a mudkip as you first pokemon.It is a good water type and evolves into swampert at lv. 36.Ruby is not a waste of money at all.With 138 new pokemon to catch,you'll be hooked on it for a while.
P.s.:Sapphire is just as good.

I chose treeko because he is a grass pok'emon. He is
strong against water but he's not strong aginst fire pok'emon . I should of chose torchich but i can always restart the game . Maybe I should restart the game. The fire pok'emon are strong against water grass normal and ghost pok'emon. My favorate type of pok'emon are fire ones I can only find a few. That is all I can tell you

How do I like the Ruby version? I think it is hard. I have heard Fire Red is better but I think that Ruby is better because of the Pokemon. But on Fire Red, you can catch deoxis. This is not a problem to get, you just have to trade for it. I'm working with the battle tower. After that I'm going to catch Raquaza. No one wants to help me with the game, I have all eight badges. This pokemon game takes place in the Hoenn region and in that region only.In this game your starters are treeco(It is the best Grass starter pokemon in all the regions so far but not the best starter),torchic OR mudkip.
You will have to surf alot because almost half of the region is covered in water & in some places there is curents!to get 200 pokemon you have to trade with sapphire version(wich is about 10 pokemon you need to trade that cant be found in Ruby and that are in sapphire)(some pokemon are only found in ruby).to get all 386 pokemon you have to trade with LEAF GREEN AND FIRE RED AND POKEMON COLLUSEUM(or whatever it is spelled lol).

1.berries:!
There are about 30 kinds of berries you have to pick them off the berry trees and if you plant a berry in that 2 berries that you picked space the 1 berry will eventully be 2 berries and you have more.
What berrys do:
Some berries do stuff like heal you pokemon from sleep poisand confusion etc. and some might heal your pokemon a little and some are used for making pokeblocks...
Pokeblocks:you have to crush berries with a game dude and you will have a pokeblock wich you can use for contest wich make a certain pokemon better at a certain contest...
Contest (lol):!
In this region there isn something called pokmon contest!Each move the pokemon learns is eather a tough move beuty move cool move smart move(I think there MIGHT be another one but I'm not sure).If you feed your pokemon a certain pokeblock it will increase the pokemon's beuty cool smart ....etc.moves.You have a choice to enter the beuty contest cool contest smart contest tough contest and........ya.On each pokEcontest each move has a certain efect.each move gives a certain muber of stars to the pokemon & after 5 rounds of contest the stars (points or hearts) are added up and the pokeon with the most wins!yay!and they get a ribbon.There are game character that you can to contest with or youn can link up and trade with a friend.
double battles:!
2 trainers that are standing by eachother might be to seperate trainers but in the same batle.They're on a team against You.Because of that you can use to pokemon in 1 round.

after a while you can battle a trainer you have already battled befor and the trainer will be stronger!

in water the spot might be dark blue water you can use dive and go under the sea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me old rod is easy and good rod is hard and super rod is super hard.Well you see they chaged the way of fishing.when the screen says Oh my gosh you have a bite! you have to press A really fast.and if you dont bye bye...you may not have a bite at all.
i recomened bying ruby instead of sapphire cuz there are a tiny bet better pokemon but no big deal.
You should use a guide too.It'll help.

Customer Review: I Choose Pokemon Ruby!

Three words: Ruby is GREAT! I love the graphics, I love the intricate design of the enviroments, and I love the music, which is so lifelike that it sounds like there's a band in the GameBoy! There are lots of hidden, secret items, unique and perplexing puzzles, challenging battles, and the Mach Bike's speed is thrilling.
The only setbacks are 1. that you can't go to any other region other than Hoenn, 2. the trainers in the S.S. Tidal don't ever change, and 3. the Battle Tower is completely unconquerable. The only thing I absolutely hate is the Sealed Chamber. I THOUGHT that I had solved its riddle, but when I checked the Tombs, nothing. It's very weird.
All in all, Ruby is a 5-star game. It and its (almost identical) twin, Sapphire (both of which I have), are outstanding; they are both true breakthroughs in Nintendo technology. I hope that FireRed and LeafGreen will be as amazing as Ruby and Sapphire.
