Video Game Reviews of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Includes Four Swords)Customer Review: GOOD HARD CHALLENGING GAME Summary: 5 StarsDear Amazoner
For anybody who wants a challenge i would highly recommend this game often you need to look online to find out what to do next like often in zelda games its nice to take along but of course not quite as good a 3-D zelda
but defintley about the best hand held zelda till now otherwise i would suggest you the legend of zelda the minish cap (prequel to four swords)(2005) or the gamecube multiplayer four swords adventure(2005) for 2-D zeldas and the legend of zelda phantom hourglass (takes about 5-8hours) coming out october 2007 in europe for nintendo DS which got reveiwed by japanese gaming magazine Famitsu 39/40 and Ngamer(UK) 95/100 that just uses the touch screen (no buttons) which is the sequel to the hugely succsesful wind waker (gamecube) overall the game is fun to play every now and then especially if you think that it came out in 1993 and the inclusion of four swords is good better more than less although its kind of hard to find some one with the game a link cable and a gameboy advance and you cant play it alone but it got its own sequel see above 1-4 players (funner with more)
so i would suggest this game it gets better and better from the beggining the missions are quite hard youll have to retry them quite often (if you get bored of them you can always explore hyrule)but its worth it in the end and if you think that most people complain that new zeldas are to easy but not this one a strategy guide is suggested otherwise you can check the internet (ign.com gamefaqs.com) if you want a second opinion i would recommend ign.com
I would give the game
9.4 out of 10
the game takes between 20-30 hours
I hope my reveiw was helpful

Customer Review: Perfect port of an all time classic Summary: 5 StarsOne of the best games ever made for Nintendo's Super NES was undoubtedly the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and it's perfect port to the GBA was not only faithful to the original, but even improved on the classic game in some aspects as well. Playing as stalwart hero Link, you are on a mission to once again save Princess Zelda from certain doom as you progress through Hyrule and traverse dungeons, solving puzzles and collecting items in your quest. A Link to the Past featured many revolutionary elements back when first released for the Super NES, including the ability to travel back and forth between a "light" and "dark" world as you progress through the game, and it's dungeons still remain some of the best to ever appear in any RPG ever crafted. The game's graphics are plenty colorful and look fantastic on the GBA's screen, and the ultra catchy music score and overall epic feel of the game is still second to none. The additional feature, entitled the Four Swords, is a multiplayer (via link cable) blast that is an excellent little bonus in itself as well. There are some minor tweaks in the game as well, including some digitized speech and sound effect elements and a few graphical and gameplay upgrades as well. Do yourself a favor: if for some reason you missed out on the original Super NES classic and own a GBA, or even a DS, you have to add Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to your library. It's simply a perfect port of an all time classic that remains one of the best GBA games ever crafted, as well as one of the best games of it's type as well.
Customer Review: a classic on the go Summary: 5 StarsI really enjoyed this game back when it first released on the SNES. I'm glad that I can finally play it again with the benefit of taking it where ever I go. The only problem is that unless you know someone else who has the game for the gameboy too, you'll never be able to play the Four Swords. I would recommend this game to others who love rpgs and zelda. Just so you can hook up with them and play the multiplayer. :)
Customer Review: My favorite Zelda! Summary: 5 StarsI am a big fan of the Legend of Zelda games, and this is one that I come back to playing over and over. I have it on my PC and I have replayed it many times, and when I found out it was available for Game Boy, having just purchased a DS, I bought it.
Customer Review: Cleaned up a bit from the SNES version Summary: 5 StarsA good game on SNES, and I'm glad to have it in portable version.
