Video Game Reviews of The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap

Customer Review: This game is so hard
Summary: 5 Stars

This game is easy at first but then it gets impossible.I got stuck on this part for about 3 mounths. This is a game for a 13 year old teen or sombody that can compleet almost any hard game. This game is fun but almost impossible. So, if you want something easy, than don't buy this game.

Customer Review: Not a word!!!
Summary: 4 Stars

When i first heard about this game, I'm like this is gonna be awesome. I can't say i was totally disapointed. The game is really fun for the first bit, but it gets impossible and isn't really worth playing anymore.

Pros:
decent graphics
fun gameplay
awesomely cool special items
kinstones are cool

Cons:
Ezlo (your hat)is really long-winded and annoying
as i said before, gets hard and boring
being tiny is more of a disadvantage
you never know where shinkers are hiding

Overall, a decent game

Customer Review: Awesome Zelda game. Awesome game, period.
Summary: 5 Stars

I held off a bit on this game since im not too fond about Links adventures as a child. I was more into him as an adult like Ocarina of Time. But my hesitation couldnt have been any more wrong.

This game just oozes of quality. The graphics are great, the music is of beautiful old school Zelda, and the gameplay and mechanics are borderline perfect.

This game mixes the best of a Link to the Past, Links Awakening, and the original Zelda and is a gem because of it. When you add the best parts of some of the greatest games ever made, you cant go wrong.

Plus there is a ton to do besides the original story, which is sadly short. There are dozens of heart pieces to get, tons of fusions to hunt down, sword upgrades to find, and figurines to collect. There are hundreds of 'optional' sidequest items and makes looking for them all the more fun.
I especially liked the kinstone system as it was simple to get a grasp of and yet it was highly addicting and fun.

All in all this is one of the best Zelda games ever made, and is easily in the top 5 games out there for Gameboy.
So do yourself a favor and pick up this highly enjoyable and highly polished gem of a game.

Customer Review: good for passing time
Summary: 5 Stars

i had to travel to new mexico for a week recently and bought this game to pass the time while flying and during down time througout the week. it proved to be well worth the 30 bucks i spent on it. i was a huge fan of the original zelda on the NES and "a link to the past" on snes. in a week of casual play, i got to the very end of the game right before the last boss. so, it's not a tremedously long game, but very fun nonetheless. it's not particularly hard either. i didn't die once on any boss. good, fun game.

Customer Review: In this game Link proves once again that size doesn't matter.
Summary: 5 Stars

As in every Zelda game it all comes down to a pure hearted and very determined boy in green to save the world. Surprizingly the power of the triforce and the constantly returning Ganon have nothing to with the problems that plague hyrule this time around. This time Link seems to have been reincarnated to deal with a much more different enemy, an enemy that began no more than a centimeter tall. A powerful Minish wizard has created a hat that grants extreme power to it's wearer. Originally, the hat was supposed to be used for the good of human children but the wizard's student stole the cap and intends on using it's extreme power for his own use. Before you know it, Zelda is turned to stone because of the powerful mysterious ability to manipulate magic within her bloodline and Link, being the bravist guy around, takes up the challenge to rescue her and, if at all possible, stop the rouge minish.

I loved this game because if nothing else the whole thing was a brain twisting puzzle. The story is awsome as well and the characters are full of life. If you are stuck on a puzzle you could play mini-gamesm, go treasure hunting, or even collect figurines. I couldn't stop playing this one, it's perfect as a GBA game to bring with you on long trips.
