A very special person got me this game, and I was grateful at first and tried to love it for her sake, not wanting to hurt her feelings that I didn't like a game she spent so much money on.
But it's repetitive and boring, with no clear goals. All you do every day is check the television, gather the honey, fish, and farm. If you're lucky you can get around to the city before you get too tired or all the shops are closed after you get done farming.
The same thing, day in, day out. Even the hints and help I found around the Internet about this game didn't make it more fun.

i was the person who as talking about Ann. my baby is so cute. his name is hubert. he wears a monkey hat. after your wife is pregnant for 60 days you will wake up in the morning and be in your kitchen with thir mom or dad or someone. wife: i need help, eli! eli: you dont need help! just a little more to go! wife: aaarrggggg! ow, that hurts! other person: you should go see your wife .you walk over to your wife. docter:wow women are stronger than men! wife: hes as cute as a monkey! what should we name him? then you get to name him. after that it is automaticly a new day. your wife is walking around the table as usaul but is holding the baby. wife:AARRGGEE! i cant belive how busy i am! wife: and i thought that babys slept all day! when your wife leaves your house the baby is in the big bed. when you get close to him his face changes. some of the quotes might be iaccurate i dont know if they all say the same things but this is what ann says. please tell me if this helps. i will tell you more when he is a toddler. thanks for reading!!Customer Review: i want it

I GOT A GIRLFRIEND AT THE GREEN HEART LEVEL!!! IT IS ANN!! SHE IS VERY EASY TO WIN OVER!!! JUST A LITTLE TOO PERKY!!!!!! SHE LIKES APPLES, EGGS, BOILED EGGS, FRUIT JUICE, NOT SO MUCH FLOWERS, WILD GRAPES AND MORE!!! I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!! on this game before you get the big bed you have to buy EVERYTHING [exept for the rug] from the t.v. shopping network. on every saterday.i got it already. it is 10,000. also i have a pregnent cow. she will give birth in 9 days. warning: cows do not give you milk when they are pregnant. it takes around 21 days for the baby to come. the soon to be a mom cow stays in her place not even when you use you bell.if you are curios you can have a kid. i will tell you more when i get one. ps it is harder than it looks to get a girlfriend. you can only marry the harvest godess[ dont try this] after you have played for 5 years not in real life of course. she has an ivisible heart so you dont know when to propose. did this help? tell me. i would appreciate it.Customer Review: Warning! This game is way awesome!!! I did give it an overall rating of 4 stars for two reasons:
1. There are ALOT of spelling and grammer errors, along with other glitches, so it is sometimes hard to understand what people are saying to you.
EX:"How are you dong?"
EX:"Have you ready Basil books?"
EX: Flower instead of flour.
Whoever translated this game into English did not put much effort into the spelling and grammer.
2. You are not able to choose whether you want want to be a boy or girl farmer like you can in some of the other HM games- you have to be a guy. (I don't really like this since I'm a girl, so I am excited for the girls' version of this game- Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town- to come out)
Other than that, this is a dang good game! When I first got my Gameboy Advance SP and heard of the Harvest Moon games, I thought, A FARMING GAME??? You have GOT to be kidding me! Why the heck would I want to play some boring thing like that? Well, about a year or so later a friend of mine introduced me to her HM game which was called Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. And guess what? I LOVED it! I just HAD to get one of those Harvest Moon games for my gameboy. When I got this one, it was a little confusing at first because it was completely different from the one my friend had me play. But I gradually got used to it. The story line of this game is basically the same as the rest of them:
Some old man you knew in your childhood who had owned that farm you loved dies, leaving the resposibility of restoring the farm to you.
In this game you get to do the following:
-Raise your own crops and livestock
-Befriend the towns people
-Fall in love, get married, and have a son
-Befriend Harvest Sprites so they can help you on your farm
-Cook yummy recipies to give to others
and much more!
I can't get enough of this game! I would DEFINITLY recommend at least trying out this game before deciding not to buy it!
